Nickname: Sonya mostly - Close friends call me Sunny - Not very nice people call me Whimplewand or Pimplewand. I don't like those people.

Blood: My father is a wizard, his family is know for our wand woods, which we grow on our family farm in Iowa. My mom is an Iowa farmer's daughter. We live fairly normal muggle style lives on our Iowa farm.
Physical description: Sonya is of medium height and build. She has long brown hair that she wears in two braids (aka Laura Engels) freckles across her nose and brown eyes.

Personality/Moods: Sonya is a relativly outgoing sort of girl, she is pretty scrappy and tends to get into fights with boys, but has never been in a fight with girls. She is quick to stand up for those smaller then her. She does try to stay out of trouble, but won't put up with someone picking on her friends. She has lead a fairly isolated life away from most magic and those things associated with the bigger towns and cities. She is a bit of a hick.
Pet/Companion: (Optional) Sonya has a big bull frog named Ruckus she found at the pond back home that she brought as her familar. He is not a magical frog, just a big fat bullfrog. He likes to be scratched under his chin and has a little dark muddy home under her bed that he sleeps in.

After class Sonya went down to Hagrid's hut to visit the chickens. Hagrid's hut always reminded her of home, and made her feel a little better. She sat by the pen for about half an hour, and wrote a letter to her ma and pa back home. Then she headed off to the Owlery to send it off.
